Our Vision
Guided by hope and excellence, we envision a future where every journey to parenthood is empowered and every adult experiences comprehensive, accessible, and compassionate care.
Two clinics that have spent years earning their patients' trust separately now practise under one name. We'd rather you know that story than meet us as a page with no history behind it.
Shree began as two separate practices in T. Nagar: Shree Centre for Fertility and Women's Care, built around obstetric, gynaecological and reproductive health, and Shree Centre for Diabetes and Internal Medicine, founded in 2014 around a simple idea — that a neighbourhood clinic could offer the kind of personal, continuous care that gets lost in larger hospitals, where a doctor knows you, keeps track of your history, and treats you as more than the condition in front of them.
Shree Specialty Clinics brings both under one identity, not because the two practices needed to change, but because the people who need them often overlap. A woman managing thyroid disease while planning a pregnancy, or a man whose diabetes review turns up something his wife should also have looked at — that's not two separate clinics' problem to solve separately. It's one conversation, between doctors who already work together.
The clinical compass and moral foundation that anchor every decision, consultation, and patient relationship.
Guided by hope and excellence, we envision a future where every journey to parenthood is empowered and every adult experiences comprehensive, accessible, and compassionate care.
With innovation and empathy, we commit to personalised fertility solutions, holistic women's care, proactive adult medicine, and everyday well-being — striving to make each unique path to health and parenthood a fulfilling reality.
We partner with you at every stage, walking together with clarity, diligence, and genuine empathy from grey to the pink of health.
The idea of a family doctor — someone who knows your history, not just your chart — has mostly disappeared from corporate healthcare. We built Shree to bring it back, without giving up the specialist depth that genuinely complicated problems need.
Every visit starts with understanding what is actually concerning you, not running through an arbitrary checklist.
You should leave a consultation more informed than confused, whatever the clinical evaluation reveals.
Your plan is built around your individual health markers, your life stage and your daily realities — not a rigid generic protocol.
High-quality medical care shouldn't require a corporate hospital's overhead or unnecessary diagnostic burden to deliver it.
Shree is built around two senior specialists who have chosen to practise this way deliberately.
A gold medalist from Thanjavur Medical College, Dr. Madhupriya holds MRCOG membership, advanced gynaecological laparoscopy training from Germany, and a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine (training completed at MMM, Chennai). Her practice spans the full arc of women's health — from first periods to menopause — with particular depth in fertility evaluation and treatment, high-risk obstetrics, and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. She actively mentors MRCOG candidates and teaches DNB candidates.
Key Clinical Focus Areas:
Trained at Madras Medical College, Dr. Balaji holds a Diploma in Diabetology (Govt. General Hospital, MMC), DNB in Internal Medicine (Southern Railway HQ Hospital, Ayanavaram), and intensive critical-care qualifications including the Indian Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (national topper, Anand Memorial Award 2013), IDCCM, and the European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC, Vienna 2015), alongside MRCP (Royal College of Physicians, 2019). That critical-care training shapes how he practises everyday medicine — with an instinct for catching problems in blood sugar, blood pressure, thyroid function or weight long before they become emergencies.
